My 2nd great find is Illinois Street Lounge. It's exotic, space age, now sound, jet-setting, cocktailing, bachelor pad music. I love the xylophone, moog, tribal percussion and "ooh ooh ahh ahh"s. I think they've got the fish instrument in there too, but I can't be sure.

Hang in there for the Three Suns, Esquivel, Dick Hyman and Thelonious Moog.
Add webradio suggestions to these comments. Space lounge musak is brilliant and bizarre, but it may drive me too far out. Post any good stations.
How about 107.7 The GoFuckYourself
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not like that one.
ReplyDeleteWhat's your problem with capitalism? Commercial-driven radio not good enough for you and your socialist tastes? You know, they decide what music you should listen to so you don't have to. GIVE IN.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they're experts. Are you an expert, Jon? I didn't think so.
ReplyDeleterange is one problem. their signal doesn't make it to Nowhere.
ReplyDeleteHow is Nowhere these days? People always complain about the middle, but I hear the edges can be fun and exciting.
ReplyDeletei steer towards the sides, but it's a quick drop off that edge.
ReplyDeletenobody? nothing?
ReplyDeleteAs I've stated before, I only believe in corporate rock and roll. I'll have none of this pirate business.
