fake thanksgiving
I wanted to have a get together(party) at my parents house(Lynnwood) to see people I never get to see, I was thinking the weekend of thanksgiving, but Christine mentioned doing a fake thanksgiving thing the 20th, which I believe is the saturday before. Either way I plan on doing something, so people should clear their calendars(when I figure out the date) maybe thanksgiving potluck style....with wine purchases made to winegrrrrrl.

ReplyDeleteThe 22nd is a Sunday, I believe. The 20th is a Friday, of course, so the Friday after Thanksgiving would be the 27th.

Is this where we get to disclose all that was said LAST fake Thanksgiving in the wee hours of the morn while the mortal people tried to catch some shut eye? Perhaps Twyla would like to pie-wrestle Joeltron in the wake of the AlterNate's absence... somebody's got to do it. and break stuff.

ReplyDeletei'm down with whatev. if we are going for any sort of culinary theme, i suggest Provence. i have a great recipe for wedding soup and parmesan crab risotto lollipops. i may also do a pumpkin maple bread pudding w/ homemade praline ice cream so as long as joel does not use it as deconstructed turkey stuffing.....
