The Cave Singers
I've said it once, but I'll say it again "I love the Cave Singers", they are playing Bumbershoot, and while we are playing with them shortly at the Wild Buffalo, it is a lot harder to rally people up to see a show in bham then to go to Bumbershoot. So it you are going to Bumbershoot, make a decent effort I started a new band, which is going waayyy better than the first attempt, it's me with the drummer from holytailfeathers and two people from a band I admired the reeks and the wrecks www.myspace.com/reeksandthewrecks, so hopefully it will be a little more experimental. I can't remember if it was joel, or someone who lived in New York City, but I'm going there for two months next year, and I got only a few contacts, if anyone has spent anytime there and knows good people, please let me know. I will be working with teenagers during the day, so I will need good drinking at night. thanks.

Also our cd is finished, we are playing a kexp in studio at the end of september, so please if you have time call and request us, even if you hate the music. my vocals and lyrics are in three songs, Know known cure, steal away, and get you in and since the organ is so goddamn low I wonder if I'm even there
ReplyDeleteI didn't live in NYC but I do have a Cave Singers T-Shirt I got when they opened for Dr. Dog at the Crocodile, does that count? Ahh yes they also opened for Calexico at the Moore. When are you gonna be on the radio?
